Truly encapsulates the horrors of World War I, and the fact that the lyrics of some of the songs are taken from old war letters really adds to the authenticity. Melodic Black Metal from the U.K. but with a clear frosty feel of the Scandinavian acts. Very nice post-production, giving it that clear and distinct sound, whereby also the drums and bass are heard well, with lots of amazing guitar work, with the throaty vocals on top, with a very consistent performance all along. The album has that sinister, dark vibe, good tempo changes, and the songs are varied, keeping things flowing and interesting! Thank you to all those who took the time to review it!
